My name is Agnieszka Koziorowska and I work as a Cloud Solutions Consultant for a cloud computing company. The content of this blog ties mostly to my VMware-focused job and is a way to share with you my findings, thoughts and experiences that I gather during customer meetings, discussions with partners and colleagues from community. I hope you will find it useful in your software defined journey.

I come from a telco world that was full of hardware and infrastructure and I still remember the dedicated hardware units in a telco exchange that were responsible for providing certain functions. You could literary hit this piece of electronics to make it work when broken. I remember also the day when those units where replaced by features on x86 servers and this is how this software defined journey started for me.

Throughout my professional career, VMware’s new products have been always motivating me to learn new things and develop new skills. So here I am writing this blog, evolving from being infrastructure admin to someone that can automate many of my previous assignment’s activities, to a cloud architect. I am almost there…

Please be aware that this blog represents my own thoughts and ideas not those of my employer.

I’m also excited to share my new book, a beginner’s guide to Google Cloud for engineers. It’s packed with everything you need to know to pass the Associate Cloud Engineer exam. If you’re just starting out with Google Cloud, give it a look – I hope you find it helpful!
